Stonewall Stables was built in the heart of Midcoast Maine in 2007. Situated in Nobleboro on 30-acres, the farm boasts sixteen 10' x 10' box stalls in the main barn with an attached 100' x 200' indoor arena and a 100' x 200' outdoor arena. Both arenas are well maintained with new footing and regular dragging. In addition, the coverall design of the indoor allows for bright, airy, comfortable year-round riding.
In 2017, the Bradley family purchased the farm. Stay up-to-date on all of the exciting things happening at the barn by following the Stonewall Stables Facebook page!

Crissy Bradley has been a fixture at Stonewall Stables for six years, so in 2017 when the chance to purchase the farm arose, she couldn't miss the opportunity to realize her dream. With the support from her husband Ross and two boys, Will and Weston, in November 2017 the farm was hers.
Crissy can almost always be found around the farm, doing anything and everything that needs to be done. She enthusiastically teaches beginner riding lessons, starting from leading and grooming to learning how to post trot. No job is too big or too small!
When not working hard at the farm, Crissy can be found on the ocean, on the slopes, or simply enjoying Friday night pot-lucks with family and friends.
Chloe Bryant joined the West Neck Farm team in January 2020. Chloe has been riding since she was a small child and was a member of the United States Pony Club and 4H for many years.
Chloe can be found at the farm most days, doing chores or teaching our beginner group of students the incredibly important fundamentals of horsemanship. Her easy-going personality and quick smile makes her the perfect fit to help even the most nervous, novice riders gain the confidence needed to move up to the next level in their riding journeys.
When not at the barn, Chloe can be found on the slopes or taking fun road trips with her friends and family.
Virginia Shaw Genthner
Virginia Shaw started her journey at Stonewall as the owner; however, in 2017 she sold the farm to the Bradley family to focus on her love of teaching. An accomplished Junior competitor in all three rings, Virginia teaches all levels of hunter/jumper riders in addition to coaching the IEA team. She has successfully taught students of all ages from the ground up, taking them as high as the National Level.
Personal growth for each rider is Virginia's top priority. She works with every student to set and achieve goals in a positive and encouraging manner and training style.
Gerry Grierson joined the West Neck Farm team in April 2021, bringing with him many years of experience with both horses and cows.
As a former high school teacher, Gerry promotes life long learning, growth and teamwork. With his strong values, Gerry fit in at the farm immediately and has been a great new additional to the team. We're all thankful for his laid back personality and strong work ethic.
When you don't see Gerry working with the horses around the barn, he's probably out trail riding his horse, Trigger!
